Chicago Firefighter Andrew “Drew” Price

LODD 13 November 2023

Hello everyone, we would like to introduce our 2026 honoree: Chicago Firefighter Andrew "Drew" Price. Drew lost his life battling a fire on the northside of Chicago on November 13, 2023, at the age of 39. Drew was born in Fort Worth, Texas but he loved Chicago serving 14 years with the Chicago Fire Department before his passing. Drew loved to travel and on a solo trip to Hawaii, he adopted the saying “Mahalo.” This common Hawaiian saying is used by locals to express gratitude--and it truly embodies who he was as a person.
