The Garfield Ridge Stars and Stripes 5K was established in 2017 by members of the Chicago area communities who value the importance of First Responders and Military Personnel. We are dedicated to honoring and commemorating the courageous men and women who serve as first responders and Military Personnel who in particularly have made the ultimate sacrifice.
Our mission is to acknowledge their steadfast dedication and service to both our city and nation. The organization seeks to raise funds for distinguished non-profit organizations that provide essential support services to individuals facing traumatic circumstances. Their courage, selflessness, and unwavering service deserve not only our gratitude, but our continued support.
